30 Years of Art and Architectural Design + Branding Experience
I started my career life as a Certified Optician at the age of 19, as bland as it may sound, the optical world is highly creative. As an optical stylist, I not only curated peoples’ faces and turned them to run loose in the streets, as walking art, but I also got a unique and creative peek into medical arts, merchandising, and retail trends. I was assisting in purchasing for retail inventory and co-creating branded trunk shows, working with high-end lines like Cartier and Christian Dior. This led to meeting local passionate designers who encouraged me to seek a design degree.
My passion for design really is to problem solve complex issues that have to do with human behavior and how those interact in the built environment. Aging-in-Place is my primary focus, assisting in providing safety home evaluations in order for people to stay in their homes if they chose, or plan for a new environment that supports their day-to-day needs.
I can assist in merging the power of art, research, and empathy to build spaces that serve everyone—because design isn’t just what it looks like; it’s how it heals. Each project will weave an understanding the guiding principles of Healing-Centric Work. Please email me at brandieadamsdesigns@gmail.com
