Brandie has also contributed to the interior design industry through leadership and as an educator. She is a professional member of ASID. She has also served 7 years on the International Interior Design Association Northland Chapter Board and was president in 2001. That same year, she passed the NCIDQ exam which tests the health, safety, and welfare for the general public. Brandie has been recognized for her work including the restaurant Nami, which won “Best Design & Aesthetics, Interior Retail” from the MSCA's Retail Awards in 2001.
